Crystal Rapids Water Park in Loveland was brought to the ground by the Loveland Fire Department in a controlled burn on Sunday, November 18th.
The property has a new owner who made arrangements with the Loveland Fire Department to burn it to the ground. It was a win-win situation for both parties involved.
The new owner saves money by having it burned as the removal of the debris is less costly to have removed in this state rather than having it demolished and taken out in pieces. The fire department benefited as well by having a structure to practice and train on in a controlled burn.
The structure was lit at 10:23 am took roughly an hour to down.
